Hi, I just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate your scholorship that was given to my son Jake Winter.  He absolutely loved your camp and wants to come back next year for the whole 6 weeks.  I told him to start saving.  You helped him gain the much needed confidence and the will to do something.  I will be forever grateful.  The performance was outstanding and we all enjoyed it so much.  I loved being able to see them all on facebook and how the weeks progressed.  Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity and making him part of your family!

Was assistant riding counselor summer of 1965. Am in Manitowac this weekend for my husband's submarine reunion. Took a drive to Elkhart Lake to see if Camp Harand was still to be found -- what a surprise the Oshoff complex is!!
But being there and seeing the train station where we all arrived from Chicago -- brought back LOTS of memories!

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of the love and skills I learned at camp. My granddaughter just starred in a play and it was like watching myself. For those of you who don't know me I was a Harander from 1956-1963. At the time, I think I held the record for the longest camper longevity! I remember every nook and cranny of camp and sings songs from Allegro, South Pacific, Carousel, Oklahoma and more everyday! With love,
